Why are you involved with SCN?
While in grad school, I’ve had several life-changing experiences which have led me to change my future plans.  Instead of one day becoming an English professor, I now dream of doing humanitarian work in Africa with a non-profit organization after I graduate.  I got involved with SCN because I wanted to gain experience with a non-profit organization and feel like I was making a difference in the community around me.
