This event offers
teens and young adults opportunities to experience, first-hand, the
increased risks associated with impaired driving through interactive
events including driving a golf cart while wearing Fatal Vision
goggles. Other safety stations include updates on Georgia’s traffic
laws, the importance of Teen Driving Contracts, pedestrian safety
awareness and more.
For this program,
SCN partners with local and state law enforcement and community
agencies to bring up-to-date safety information to students.
This program best
if offer outdoors, preferably on a track, practice field or large,
empty parking lot.
