About Stalkers

• Do not give in to stalkers and their demands so as to avoid becoming their "prisoners"
• Contact police and file police reports
• Document dates and times of phone calls and instances of being followed
• Rape Crisis Centers offer support groups for rape and stalking victims
• Consider carrying a portable cellular phone so you can call for help
• Give stalkers specific rejections and be blunt about not wanting anything to do with them
• Take a self-defense class that will help you protect yourself if the need arises
